IT'S GAME ON FOR YOUNG RUGBY PLAYERS
5th June 2007
Pupils from Steeton Primary School are dressed for success when they take to the rugby pitch thanks to Northern Rail. A donation of £300 from the local rail operator has enabled the school to buy much needed new rugby kits for its Year 5 and 6 boys and girls teams.
Malcolm Brown, Area Director, Northern Rail said: “We have strong ties with the Rugby Football League and through that partnership we are a firm supporter of the grass roots level of the sport so we were delighted to be able to help these young players.”
Mr Webb, Key Stage 2 Coordinator at Steeton Primary School added: “I’d like to thank Northern Rail for their support. They serve our community so they are an organisation that the children can easily identify with.”
