Flooding continues to affect rail services

Ongoing flooding problems continue to affect some Northern Rail services, with passengers in affected areas warned not to travel unless necessary.
Services affected are as follows:
- Sheffield – Doncaster. This service has been suspended with road replacement services in operation where available;
- Doncaster – Adwick. Local services have been suspended. Passengers can use the Doncaster to Leeds services which continue to run, but on an hourly basis;
- Sheffield – Leeds via Barnsley. Services suspended between Barnsley and Leeds. Road replacement services in operation where available;
- Sheffield – Leeds via Swinton and Moorthorpe. Northbound services are diverted via Methley Junction (not calling at Outwood). Southbound services run as normal;
- Leeds – Harrogate – York. Services are suspended between Knaresborough and York. Road replacement services are in operation where available. This will continue throughout the rest of today and tomorrow, Sunday 17th June;
- Blackpool – York. Normal service has resumed;
- Wakefield – Westgate – Selby/Selby – Westgate-Wakefield. Some services are starting and terminating at Leeds.
- Sheffield – Lincoln. Trains will terminate / start at Worksop.
Northern Rail and Network Rail are working to resume normal service as quickly as possible and apologise for any inconvenience caused to passengers.
