Directions to the nearest train station

From Lincoln Central Station

Outside of the train station you can pick up the ‘walk and ride’ shuttle bus service. This runs every 20 minutes between 10am and 5pm Monday - Saturday and on Sundays 12noon - 5pm. This drops off at various locations around the city but for the Visitor Information Centre Castle Hill is the closest stop.

Alternatively there is the stagecoach bus number 7 / 8, which you can pick up from the city bus station which is across the road from the railway station. This drops off outside the Lincoln Hotel / Cathedral which is a five minute walk from the Visitor Information Centre.

If you are walking from the railway station to the Lincoln Visitor Information Centre then turn left out of the station and when you get to the pedestrian crossing on your right, cross over then you are on Lincoln’s High Street. Once on the High Street follow all the way up until you are at the top of Steep Hill. In front of you, you will see a black and white Tudor building. This is the Visitor Information Centre.
