Northern Stars - Robert Crompton
Robert is a conductor based at Manchester Piccadilly station. At home and checking his BlackBerry he realised that there was disruption at Todmorden station near where he lives. Even though he was off duty at the time, he immediately left home and went to help, his only thought was for our customers. This meant that our customers were reassured that we were doing everything we could to help them continue their journey and they were given help and advice when they needed it most.
