By purchasing an Advance ticket, you're able to choose the best time to travel at the lowest available fare and reserve yourself a seat (on selected trains).
Tickets are available for purchase from 12 weeks before travel, and can be booked up until 1800 the day before travel (although please allow seven days if you are purchasing online to allow for postage).

Check details and book early as Advance tickets are subject to limited availability and Advance fares will not be available on every train.
Please note Advance tickets are only valid for the date and train they are booked for and these tickets are non-refundable but can be amended before departure.

You can receive your tickets by First Class post (please allow seven days for delivery); collect your pre-paid tickets from ticket vending machines (TVMs) at participating stations.
